EMINENT JOURNALIST SANIT DEBROY AND PRANAD SARKAR VISITIING RUPAYAN
A Pillar of Support: Leading Journalists Champion Rupayan Foundation’s Mission
At Rupayan Foundation, we have always believed that community support is the heartbeat of successful rehabilitation. We are deeply honored and blessed to have the unwavering support of Tripura’s most eminent journalists, who stood by us from the very beginning to champion our initiative for a “Nasha Mukt” society.
A Distinguished Beginning:
The opening of the Rupayan Foundation Rehabilitation Centre was graced by the presence of several legendary figures from the media fraternity. Their attendance was not just a gesture of support, but a powerful message to the state about the importance of specialized treatment centers. We were privileged to welcome:
Mr. Subhal Dey, Editor of Syandan Patrika and Syandan TV.
Mr. Pranab Sarkar, Editor of Headline Tripura.
Mr. Sanit Debroy, Editor of Ajker Fariyad.
Mr. Manas Paul, Editor of Tripura Times.
Their collective presence underscored the vital role that the media plays in raising awareness and reducing the stigma associated with addiction.
Beyond the Launch: Continued Mentorship
The support of these eminent personalities did not end at our inauguration. Mr. Pranab Sarkar and Mr. Sanit Debroy have continued to visit our center regularly. During these visits, they take the time to personally check on the well-being of our residents and engage in meaningful interactive sessions.
These sessions are incredibly motivating for the boys in our care. Hearing words of encouragement from respected voices in society helps our residents feel seen, heard, and valued—reminding them that they have a community waiting to welcome them back once their journey to recovery is complete.
A Shared Vision:
We are profoundly grateful to the entire media fraternity for being so supportive of our mission. It is through this collaborative spirit that we continue to provide a “New Horizon” for those seeking a fresh start.
