MOU BETWEEN RUPAYAN AND ICFAI UNIVERSITY

In a significant move toward building a “Nasha Mukt” (Drug-Free) Tripura, the Rupayan Foundation and ICFAI University, Tripura have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on addiction awareness and rehabilitation.

This partnership unites the grassroots expertise of the Rupayan Foundation—a leading de-addiction and counseling center in Agartala—with the academic and social reach of ICFAI University.

Our Vision for Collaboration

Through this agreement, both institutions will work hand-in-hand to address the growing concern of substance abuse among youth through several key initiatives:

Awareness & Sensitization: We will conduct joint seminars, workshops, and training programs aimed at educating students and the wider community about the ill effects of drug use.

Academic & Research Projects: The collaboration facilitates academic research and joint projects focused on the socio-economic impact of addiction and effective rehabilitation strategies.

Training & Internships: ICFAI students will have opportunities for training and internships at the Rupayan Foundation, gaining real-world experience in de-addiction rehabilitation and peer counseling.

Community Outreach: We will implement sustainable outreach programs, including joint rallies and competitions, to create a recovery-friendly environment across the state.

Strengthening the “Nasha Mukt” Mission

This MOU is more than just a formal document; it represents a shared commitment to providing a “New Horizon” for those battling addiction. By combining educational resources with clinical expertise, we are building a stronger support system to identify, counsel, and rehabilitate individuals in need.

We are excited about the future of this partnership and the positive impact it will have on the health and prosperity of Tripura’s youth.
