SP WEST DISTRICT VISIT TO RUPAYAN

A Visit of Encouragement: SP West Tripura Dr. Kiran Kumar K Joins Our Mission

The fight against addiction in Tripura received a powerful boost recently when Dr. Kiran Kumar K, SP of West District, visited the Rupayan Foundation. Known for his dedicated efforts toward a “Nasha Mukt Tripura,” his presence at our center was a meaningful moment for both our staff and our residents.

Rather than a formal inspection, Dr. Kiran Kumar took the time for a genuine interactive session with the boys currently in recovery. He spoke to them not just as a police officer, but as a mentor, offering the motivation they need to stay the course. His message was clear: there is a life of dignity and purpose waiting for them on the other side of treatment.

During his visit, the SP highly praised the foundation’s approach to rehabilitation. He emphasized that while law enforcement handles the supply of drugs, organizations like Rupayan are essential for healing the community.

Most importantly, Dr. Kiran Kumar assured us of a long-term collaboration. He pledged that the police department and Rupayan Foundation will work hand-in-hand to create a stronger, more effective network for fighting addiction across the state.

We are incredibly grateful for his support and his vision for a healthier Tripura. Together, we are building a “New Horizon” for everyone.
